Conversion Overview

A website Conversion is when a user has carried out a desired action on your website. These actions may include signing up to receive newsletters, subscribe to an email list, fill out a form and so on.

To learn how to set up the conversions, please visit the Set up Conversion goals page.

Conversion Rate (or website conversion rate) is the percentage in which visitors who accessed your website completed a desired action. For example, if there were 100 visitors to your website and 10 of those visitors made a purchase, the conversation will be calculated as 10%.

There are seven data sets displayed on the conversion overview report:

  1. Trend Chart and Indicators
  2. # Conversions
  3. Conversion Value
  4. Sources
  5. Keywords
  6. Campaign Names
  7. Campaign Sources

Trend Chart and Indicators

The conversion Trend Chart contains three chart types:

  1. Conversion numbers (actual)
  2. Conversion rate (percentage)

Note: To see the data related to one specific conversion only, click the filter icon next to the name or title of the conversion.

Conversion Value

Keywords

The Keywords section displays the keywords included in searches that resulted in a successful conversion on your website. Keywords are displayed in a “tag cloud,” with the font size of each keyword relevant to the total number of visits attributed to that keyword. Hover over each keyword to see the total number of conversions attributed to that keyword. Click on Details in the upper right for further information on the particular keyword.
