Operating System

The OS (Operating System) page provides information about all the operating systems being used by the visitors accessing your website.

This page contains two data tables:

  1. OS (Operating System)
  2. Version (Versions of the operating systems)

Operating System

The following data is tracked according to the behaviours of the visitors using each OS:

  • Visits: The total number of visits accounted for by users of each OS
  • Page Views: The total number of page views accounted for by users of each OS
  • Avg. Visit Duration: The average amount of time spent on your website by users of each OS
  • New Visit Rate: The percentage of new visits accounted for by users of each OS
  • Bounce Rate: The percentage of visits that both entered and left the site from the same page, without navigating to any others, as attributed to users of each OS

Click on each column heading to sort all data by the indicator. Click once to see the data in descending order; twice to see it in ascending order.

OS Version

The OS Version data table displays website information according to the version or edition of the operating system used by the visitors accessing the website. For instance, there are users accessing the website through Windows XP, Windows 7, iOS 7.x, and so on. Data related to the behaviour of visitors using each OS version or edition is tracked in the same ways as that of visitors using each Operating System.

Relationship between OS & OS Version

Click on the name of an Operating System and jump immediately to the table showing data for each version or edition of that particular OS. For example: Click Windows on the OS data table and you will automatically see all Windows-related OS Version information.
