Location Details

The Location Table groups and displays the behavior of visitors by Country or State / City.

The following data related to the behavior of visitors from each Country/Region is displayed.

  • Visits: The total number of visits by visitors from each Country/Region.
  • Page Views: The total number of page views accounted for by visitors from each Country/Region.
  • Avg. Visit Duration: The average amount of time spent on your website by visitors from each Country/Region.
  • New Visit Rate: The percentage of new visits accounted for by visitors from each Country/Region.
  • Bounce Rate: The percentage of visits that both entered and left the site from the same page, without navigating to any others, as attributed to visitors from each Country/Region.

Click on each column heading to sort all data by that indicator. Click once to see the data in descending order; twice to see it in ascending order.

Report is divided into two categories: Country & State / City


Search:  Search for data pertaining to a particular region, country or state by entering all or part of its name into the search box.

Quick filter: To see data related to a particular country or state, click the Filter icon at the end of its row.

Relationship between Country & State / City

When you click on a particular country, the page will automatically jump to this country’s provincial data tables. For example: Click on “United States”, the page will jump to the data as tracked according to each State.

Note: The State / City also displays Country name to which they belong in the green box in the upper right of the data table.

Visitor Geography

To access the Location Map, click the arrow on the left of the Real-Time Data screen. The Location Map shows the geographic distribution of real-time visitors.

This page is particularly useful for reflecting activity of your ad areas by showing you which areas to concentrate your spending in order to improve the conversion rate and profitability of your advertising efforts.

The screen shot below shows you the features of the Location Map as they correspond to the following:

  1. Resize the Map:  Zoom in or out on the map.
  2. Location: This menu shows the number of visitors from each region in that particular moment. Click “details” to see more information in the Data Center.
  3. Location Pins: The green dots on the Location Map represent the geographical locations listed in the Location menu above. Click on each green dot to see the name of the location and the number of visitors from that location at that exact moment. (See second screen shot below.)
  4. Display Range: Move the inside box to adjust the display range of the Location Map.

  • Click the left arrow to view the Online Pages & Visitors report.
  • Click the right arrow to view the Time Clips real-time data overview.
