Project creation

What is a project? #

Projects in Ptengine have two roles.

One is the data measurement unit that determines which data is organized and stored together. Each project has a unique tracking tag, and any data collected by that will be stored together in this project. Usually, people use one project for one website.

The other is as a workspace to collaborate. You can register goals, set user groups, manage personalization, and then share it with other colleagues you invited to the project.

Create a new project #

Below, we will show you how to create a project with a newly registered account. Let's create a project according to the following contents.

• 1Register a new account here. For details, please refer to the account registration.
• 2Please enter information such as the project name and site domain.
• 3After entering the project information, click the "Finish" button to complete the project creation. Next is tag installation, please refer to here for details.

Create additional project #

If you want to add more projects to your existing account, please add them according to the following contents.

• 1You can add it from [+Add New Project] on the project list screen or [Project+] button in the project list on the product management screen.
