Visualized event set up but no data flowing in

Possible reasons – event correctly set up

  • Time delay: If the event is set up correctly, data typically becomes visible in the management interface within approximately 2 hours.
  • Incorrect time range observed: Almost all Insight features begin accumulating data after they are set up. If data is not appearing, please verify that the selected time range is correct and starts after the event setup date.
  • Measurement starts shortly after event setup: Measurement generally begins within 5 minutes of setting up the event.

💡 Possible reasons – Code not deployed correctly

Common setup errors

  • a. Mismatch between the page you want to measure and the measurement scope. In the screenshot above, "Source" = the URL used when setting up the event, "Element" = the selector for the specified element, and "Measurement Scope" = the page conditions for the event measurement range. For example, if you want to measure the following three URLs, but the measurement scope is specified as pages containing "https://www.aaa.com/event/", then URLs 2) and 3) will not be included in the measurement scope.
    1. https://www.aaa.com/event/
    2. http://www.aaa.com/event/
    3. https://aaa.com/event
  • b. Specified element does not exist on the page or its location has changed. If the element specified for the event does not exist on the page or its location has been changed, the previously set event will not be tracked.

💡 Solutions – incorrect setup

  • a. Measurement scope mismatch. Please re-confirm that the measurement scope you specified matches the actual page URLs you intend to measure. For detailed information on matching rules, please refer to the following article: [About Matching Rules](insert link to article about matching rules here). If there is a mismatch, please delete the event and re-set it. ※ Currently, it is not possible to modify already set events.
  • b. Specified element does not exist on the page. In this case, please re-set the event.
